Dear friends of the KRING
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the official annual meeting of the KRING 2025. This year, the Danish Coastal Authority hosts the meeting and we sincerely hope that you will join us in Denmark from October 5 to 7.
This year’s meeting will give you the chance to visit a coastal area in Denmark which is densely populated and extremely exposed to storm surges from the east, such as the notorious storms of 1872 and 2023.
In Denmark, homeowners and municipalities are responsible for coastal protection, and together we will look at a number of different approaches to flooding and coastal erosion.
