The Coastal Authority should be able to guide stakeholders, municipalities and policies as far as possible with the latest and updated international knowledge in cost-effective coastal protection.
Based on the Coastal Analysis and the results from project 1 – Shoreface Nourishment 1 and project 2 – Beach nourishment, guidelines are required that can contribute to giving citizens and municipalities better knowledge and understanding of how to make the most cost-effective natural coastal protection. Guidelines are being developed in cooperation with the other interreg partners. By doing this and incorporating results and experience from many countries, the Coastal Directorate is stronger in relation to future guidance on cost-effective coastal protection.
This project will start in 2019 and end in 2020.
